HKU-SCF FinTech Academy
HKU and Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited launched the HKU-SCF FinTech Academy in 2020, supported by HK$60 million from SCF. The Academy brings together experts from HKU Business School, the School of Computer and Data Sciences, and the Faculty of Law to develop fintech talent, drive cross-disciplinary research, and boost industry-academia collaboration. The partnership addresses demand for professionals with combined skills in computer science, business analytics, and regulatory technology and aims to lead Hong Kong’s fintech development.
